Patrick Stewart has more than 22 years of experience across provider, consulting and academic settings, including Chief Information Officer (CIO) and logistics operational roles. Patrick has deep experience assisting acute care and large multi-specialty physician organizations with strategic planning, adaptation, team building, process reengineering, and system selections and implementations.

 

Patrick’s expertise extends into quality improvement, expense management, and budget creation and justification initiatives. He consults with hospitals and physicians on strategies for using information technology to improve care delivery processes and maximize reimbursement. He brings a history of redesigning clinical and business processes for greater efficiencies in the areas of admission/transfer/discharge, surgical services, radiology, emergency department and group practices through the definition, development, and implementation of integrated internal and external management information across the entire organization.

 

Patrick has held executive IT positions with Self Regional Healthcare, Mary Washington Healthcare and Cortland Regional Medical Center. He has also served in leadership operational roles with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Verdugo Hills Hospital.

 

Patrick holds an MBA from California State Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, and a BA in Psychology from California State University, Northridge, in addition to advanced graduate studies in Health Policy and Administration from Pennsylvania State University, University Park.
